I give 2 Stars because not 100% happy no logout or offline profile. need to erase the app and download again to sign in back not very good.

Grindr. Get ya damn act together. I continuously get messages from profiles who show in the area, string you along only to say that they want you to vote for their damn page. I dunno if its GRINDR promoting this bs or what but its a damn waste of time.

Bad dark design that hurts my eyes. I accidentally bought the membership and seconds later I tried to return it but its not possible. Just horrible. Unable to keep chat history. Come on its 2016 and its the most popular gay app so hire some good app developers!

Not impressed! Dont like this app! Hard to get guys on here! I feel like a man sl** just trying to message guys and it hard to find anything with this new colour black!!! Ugly!!! :(

I prefer the original. The new version makes it so that you dont know how long ago someone was online.

It really needs to be updated on the "online" and "offline" status specially when it shows people online and close to you that then suddenly are a lot further, or that you think theyre online when they havwnt been for the last 20 mins. And the refresh needs to be fixed too... Still lacking a lot of important details that should this app a really good one

This new version feels more like a step back than a step forward.. Bulkier, longer to navigate, very spaced out info... Ill be sticking with the easier to use one until Im forced off it.. If this app becomes the only one, Ill no longer use it, I literally hate the layout that much.

EVERYTHING iZachary said is spot on. Explain to me why I would want to upgrade to this? Its hardly an upgrade. Forcing me to use the new version will be forcing me not to use this anymore.

Like many of you, I was excited for a new Grindr. The old app was pretty flawed and that was frustrating but this app isnt any better. The feed will randomly refresh and spring you right back up to the top, even if youre browsing some cute boys (who then end up lost in the refresh shuffle *despair*). Not to mention the block button is my FAVORITE feature and it is so hard to use now. Like, physically hard to use! The little tiny button is impossible to tap, sometimes taking five or six tries to successfully use it and in the meantime some jerks profile pic just keeps taking over my screen when all I want is to say boi, bye. Its a shame that our community needs an app like this and its an even bigger shame that the programmers who provide it just cant seem to get it right. This was a lateral move from the old app. Oh well, what other alternative do I have? *sigh*

The old version made me wander why this app is still on the market. The new one made no change at all, its just worse! Guys! Switch to other apps already!

I bought Xtra on an iPhone 6s and it didnt upgrade. I received my receipt from Apple and forwarded it to Grindr support about 24 hours ago... still nothing.. Probably going to report them to Apple.

This app. is probably the worst app. ever these days...enough said!!!

At least tell people why youve decided to delete their accounts. Its ridiculous how theyd delete your account for no valid reason. This app is a complete mess.

Very disappointing update....

Loose all your chats, loose all you favorites, you dont combine your old profile and end up with two, distance all screwed up...this is garbage and maybe you should get someone older than 12 to set up a decent program...

They might have a new interface but still a crappy app even if it is popular it does not work most of the time and it cant even sync from the iPhone to iPad , like scruff, grrr and even hornet can sync but not Grindr, stay away from that app

Reinstalls, shut down and iPhone hard reboots, and still the app may offer unable to refresh - leaving a near-blank screen, yet somehow managing to include a banner ad at the bottom of the screen. Also, if you migrate from earlier app, your Profile might remain in one piece, but if you try and update it, itll likely whine your description is too long. Not user friendly.

The new version is giving me so much trouble i keep getting and empty profile chart and my pic wont load so i deleted and tried to download again for the 5th time and now getting an error message saying app wont download.. Too many bugs and error messages..

Anyone can click a button for impersonation complaint, and the app support request you send multiple pictures including a copy of a passport Yes . A passport (or drivers license, which is way worse for id theft). Craziness!

Its hard to chat with someone when you cant tell youve gotten a message unless you have the app open
