OMG. Where should I begin ? - cant swipe back (hello? Took you 1 year to put that feature in the old app and now youre doing that again ?) - worst back button ever (you said you updated it but its sucks, just put swipe back again !) - worst typo ever. Did you chose that one by mistake ? Its ugly as **** ! - user interface is so badly made and make browsing and experience at a new level of not usable ... Well done !

Bug permanent

Version oct 2016. Lost all messages and all favorites, very bad.

I have been using paid version for 3 yrs. Shift to new version is mandatory but bug prevents successful migration. Thus cannot access app anymore :neither old nor new ver. No response to my requests, no help online. This is just UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! Even writing a review is close to impossible. Once you are all done you are told your nickname is already taken and suddenly all is erased and you are back to blank slate. Please send my money back. Dont buy this app: its a scam!!!! SHAMEFUL!!!!!

This last version doesnt work properly. It takes a LOT for a message and a pic to be sent, I have an IPhone 6, with loads of free space on it. Do NOT update to this version, youll regret.

The new version stinks. Yes its faster, but all my messages from the previous version were lost, the fonts are horrible and occupy too much space, and theres no progress feedback on the refresh. Honestly I preferred the old version, slow but with a clearer design.

Nothing is working. Loading takes forever. I cant see any user pictures anymore and if i can see one out of 50 (no joke) sending messages is failing. A lot to fix!

The old Grindr was bad enough (especially with users faking locations and spamming you!). The new one was hyped as being far superior, and it turned out to be far worse! Who the hell designs your apps?!? The user interface design and navigation are sh*t, and it doesnt function properly either - all old messages are lost! Even worse is that the company tried to force you to upgrade to the awful new version! If the old version ceases to work or be further supported, I will simply stop using it altogether! With this strategy you will lose a considerable number of users!! Im rating with 1 star, but only because Im forced to rate it with minimum of 1 star, otherwise youd have gotten a zero from me! Need competent user interface design or development, contact the guys at SmokinMedia.com!

Grindr always was worse than all other gay dating apps. The only problem is that everyone uses it. Now, the chats dont transfer from the old app (as promised). And the Grindr support doesnt care at all. I wrote three times and these i.iots always replied with the exact same text. I hate that kind of "service".

Menu is now just next to the ads so one would click on it accidentaly more often. So bad. And again, for any good feature you would have to pay monthly.

The cause of so many conflicts. Why isnt the status of offline profiles not live? Especially in the midst of a live chat? I think Im chatting to someone and he goes offline but is still showing online... Im getting frustrated at his lack of response. I then wait 5 min and it shows hes been offline for 25 min. Whats with that?

The new aesthetic is good, however still spotty on loading. Sometimes connecting, while others not. Frequently getting messages delayed by hours.
