You have to pay to use the filter options. I just counted 55 out of 102 guys in my nearby list were showing "offline". Some of them were "last seen" online over 50mins ago. Wasting space! Again, to sort by "online now" you have to pay and even then Im not sure its really worth it. Losing my patience with this app.

From good. To broken. They need to fix it. Or refund the money of those effected. Every time there services are down.

Same buggy app since it was first released! Service always down, chats always lost. Its incredible that this still happens after all these years. As long as you keep paying nothing will get fixed. Joel needs a reality check.

Paid for Xtra and now the app barely functions. 80% of the time messages won’t load, push notifications are broken, and the support team refuses to refund my purchase.

This app is horrible so unstable Im surprised they can never get anything right they should delete and start over this is just sad excuse for an app.

This app is constantly plagued by connection issues, chat problems and complete outages. Three times now it has completely cleared all of he profiles I had blocked. What good is unlimited blocks if I am having to re-block them every month?

Its obvious by the comments the app and its creators dont give a sht about what we think, so why doesnt everyone use scruff?? Its so much better... If everyone did, everyone would be happy. Lol

The messages are delayed several days at a time if youre able to connect at all. Every update seems to have more issues than the one before it without resolving any of the already existing ones. I would almost say its false advertising since it says its a chat app and you seem unable to do that on it. Not worth it. Dont waste money.

Outrageous monthly subscription fees, and for what? I can see a "few" more guys than the regular app, and I can specify whos actually on. What good is that? Both the upgraded version and regular version of Grindr have crashed at least 5xs in the past two weeks, and all users keep getting the message that theyre "working on the issue". Then FIX IT! This is ridiculous! I will definitely be downgrading, and Grindr needs to fix their issues. Also, whats with all the spam? How does someone hack into my location when theyre over 2,000 miles away anyway? Can someone explain this?

Everything else on my phone can function from anywhere EXCEPT this app

Very poor product development and testing/QA This is not a .99 cent app so you expect it to work. It always has problems. Once they get your money, they never give it back. They updated the app version today. Still will not connect chat.

Grindr was first to the market and changed forever how strangers meet for the first time.. It was revolutionary. I am still a user, but I will not be renewing my paid subscription to GrindrXtra. The reason frankly is the app is so buggy and lacking feature options that its simply not worth your $$$. Grindr has been left in the dust by apps like Scruff and even Jackd is better.. For an app that has made millions.. They better create an off grid new app soon, with a seamless migration or this app its toast.. For 3 days over the past weekend you could not send or get messages from others?? Really?? With a paid subscription, video profiles, video message and FaceTime incorporation as we as options like "Camouflage" where you can hide as you hunt so people you know cant Geo-track you and see you at certain hours in certain areas.. None of their business.. This is a no brainer feature for users wanting privacy while they continue their hunt.. Get with it Grindr.. Its time to rewrite the book again..

App Crashes constantly with the new update. As well as the messages not being able to send or receive on both wifi and regular cell data. Go back to the old system where it actually worked. This new platform is garbage.

Wont open, wont load, wont connect. Disconnecting and moving on to Scruff.

The app is not even working properly say your getting messages and the. Doesnt even let you read them how are you suppose to use a app your paying for

This app never seems to run smoothly ever really. I dont get why its still allowed to be released with so many issues and bugs I dont get how its so hard to fix problems maybe not enough money or something Im not sure but other apps have it down so Im thinking its just this trash app.

Seriously? Is this real...we pay for this app to chat. Only to find out......most of the profiles are fake...Grindr created. And then they have the nerve to chat with people who ppay money to use it....all fake...as if Ill get a refund......oh! My favorite feature is when the fake profiles start to flirt with you. Its insulting...and grown adults who run a company should know better. Do better.
