You block someone and youre forced to watch video ads...and youre still limited on blocks per day! Inconsistent, unstable, horrible!

Auto play video ads with no warning is totally unacceptable.

Please have this app notify users when they receive messages. Its aggravating to not know whether or not you received a message without physical being in the app. This is something should have been corrected!

As soon as you launch this app it immediately kicks you out and opens up a random App Store page. Seriously Grindr? Thats a whole new low and completely pathetic. You used to be decent but now barely usable. Youve lost a user and quite frankly I dont think Ill be coming back. Much better options are available.

Dont download unless you plan on paying $9.99/month for all the upgrades. They basically make the free version so bad, that it requires the user to upgrade. Horribly glitchy and frequently doesnt work......

Constantly redirects you and opens the App Store without clicking anything. Spend some of that money you make from the adds and fix this app.

Fancy talking to spam bots who want you to check out their identity thieving cam sites? Enjoy seeing the same group of memes, cartoon characters and torsos that youve been seeing for the past 2 years? Love it when your pics get flagged as inappropriate when theres a lot of pics that are actually inappropriate on other profiles? If youve answered no to any of these questions then dont waste your time on this app.

Grindr had a problem with the App Store opening up after opening Grindr a few years ago, now its back! Amazing that Grindr is still having the same problems they had three years ago. What a pathetic IT department, that is if they actually have one. Grindr somehow makes the app worse with each update.

Fewer premium features. Unable to send recent photos.

I have been using this app on and off for more than a decade, one of the biggest things that makes me angrier than anything, is the limited blocks and when people get unblocked by the app. I block people for a reason and I block a lot of people so I run out every day. The ability to block anyone youre not into SHOULDNT be a premium option. I have been verbally attacked and unable to block because I only get 10 blocks a day. Also why the hell does the app randomly unblock people Ive already blocked? Someone will inevitably say that its them creating a new profile, but when its the EXACT picture the EXACT wording on the profile and the EXACT headline its not them creating a new profile.

The design refresh was nice (save for the fact that I can never tell if Ive actually read all of my messages), but it appears that the developers are back to their old tricks: randomly taking you out of the app and into the app store, hoping we will download some mysterious app that is never actually available in the US store. Also, for some reason, any audio that was playing before opening the app is suddenly muted after the app loads. Its clear that the developers of this app are still looking to make a quick buck, even if it compromises the user experience. Still the worst app in the app store.

I really wanted to love this app and it is sorta useful, but its just ok.

But I had to for this this. I dont know if Grindr is selling Ad Space to shady companies, or if the app is actually corrupted, but Im tired of all of the pop-ups telling me my phone is infected. It even goes so far as to open my mail app to send a report to apple about the problem, to an email address that obviously doesnt belong to apple tech support. This only happens with Grindr. Please get this fixed, its really annoying. Thanks.

Was horrible to begin with and then they just forced you into a worse app

Worthless waste of time. No one bothers to reply. Pop up ads after every 5th click. Lots of money boys, viagra sellers, popper sellers, etc. Dont bother.

Guys you need to back to old version. This version is thing worse happen. I dont get messages and I dont see ppl around. Also we dont have extra item like delete sentences or part of conversations, its just awful and I havent hook up in days because communication issues, ppl messages delayed for hours. This new appl is worthless. Please go back the old version or we are leaving grindr. The new screen is horrible and all is just bad.

Id give it less stars if possible. Dreadful interface. Dreadful customer service.

After upgrade to pro for one year, the app freezed and I had to redownload the app again. But after login with the same email, it shows as a new profile. So now my original profile is gone and stuck with the new. Support replied to my ticket and it has been a day still no response. Dont waste your money and time.

I dont know where to begin! I signed up as a tester for this version and they never responded properly to any of my complaints. Didnt even receive notification that this new version was launched until I found out by accident while browsing on the App Store. I receive far too many advertisements with forced links and virus notifications than before. I could go on and on but I think others have covered those complaints.
